1995年、福岡出身。独学で絵画を始め、独自の哲学思想を基に油彩中心の制作を行う。
老舗画材メーカーや海外での経験を経て、様々な支持体や日本画材等を用いる。
現在は京都にアトリエを構え、作品を発表している他、モジュラーシンセを使用した音
響絵画演奏や、クラシックのバイオリニストからクラブシーンのDJ達等、幅広いジャン
ルの音楽アーティストらと共に live paintを行なうなど多種多様な表現を行なっている。
Born in Fukuoka in 1995. Self-taught in painting, moe creates primarily with oil
paints, guided by a unique philosophical approach. Having worked for an
established art material manufacturer and lived abroad, She uses various
supports and traditional Japanese painting materials. Currently based in Kyoto,
Moe not only showcases paintings but also engages in diverse forms of
expression, such as sonic painting performances using modular synthesizers and
live painting collaborations with music artists.
Concept
相対的な感情を、気分や知覚から区別された不確かで曖昧な真理の記号とし、激情に触れた事物や、
現代にいる自分自身と、その周囲に漂い横たわっている唯の事実を投影した作品を制作する。登場
する人物や物たちは、変化し交錯し続ける外を見つめる自分自身であると同時に、鑑賞者自身の鏡
像として描き出される。事実に基づきながら、具象と抽象的主題の両方を重視する。それは虚構で
ありながら、同時に作家の内的現実。目の前で展開される周囲を描きとめ、記録していく。油彩を
中心に日本画材、草木染めの染料など、様々な素材を研究しながら用いる。ゆっくりと沈思し描く
油彩作品とライブでの意識から遠ざけたシリーズを展開する。
She creates works that project the intense emotions felt by objects, herself living
in the present, and the mere facts that drift and lie around her, treating relative
emotions as symbols of uncertain and ambiguous truths, distinct from mood and
perception. The figures and objects depicted represent not only myself as She
gazes upon the ever-changing and intersecting world but also serve as a mirror
image for the viewer. While rooted in reality, She emphasizes both figurative and
abstract themes. These works are fictional yet simultaneously reflect her inner
reality, capturing and recording the surrounding environment as it unfolds before
her. She explore various materials, including traditional Japanese painting
materials and plant-dyed pigments, while focusing primarily on oil painting. Her
practice encompasses both slowly meditative oil paintings and series that distance
themselves from conscious thought during live creation.
